Tardy For The Party by Kim Zolciak

Yeah, I know she's maybe the world's worst singer, but thanks to technology, "Real Housewives of Atlanta" cast member Kim Zolciak's debute single "Tardy For The Party" is more than catchy. I am a little embarrassed to admit I like the song (and the series), but WTF.  It is what it is..  a guilty pleasure!

I think the real brains and talent behind this awesome song is actually Kim's fellow cast member Kandi Burruss, who produced the single and who is a music veteran and original member of the 90's R&B girl group Xscape.  Speaking of Xscape, their album "Off The Hook" is one of my all-time favorites.

Running Up That Hill (Infusion Remix) by Kate Bush

Kate Bush is a true original and sadly relatively unknown here in the states.  She's in my top five artists of all-time.  The one song that did chart in the U.S. is "Running Up That Hill" from her classic album "Hounds of Love".

Here is a great remix of the song.  I like it because it stays true to the original, but slightly faster.  It has a "trance" feel to it.

Overpowered by Roisin Murphy

I just recently discovered the awesome music of Roisin Murphy (yeah, I know she's been around a while) and I can't get enough.

My favorite song by her right now is "Overpowered" from her album with the same name.
